Almaden Pilates offers a full range of Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced classes for clients who have completed the introductory classes and are ready for the next challenge.
MAT LEVEL 1
A 60-minute class that applies Pilates principles to develop core strength and flexibility in a supportive atmosphere. Class focuses in on form, technique and proper breathing. Pilates mat exercises are introduced with ample modifications.
Completion of this class is recommended before registering for Mat Level 2.
MAT LEVEL 2
A 60 Minute intermediate/advanced class consisting of challenging exercises that move at a faster pace. Build upon the fundamental exercise learned in Mat 1 and new more difficult exercises that will be introduced that require flexibility, strength, core control, stabilization and endurance. Prior Pilates experience is required.
