Almaden Pilates Studio offers a wide range of Pilates Mat classes suitable for beginners and intermediate level users. The Studio is located in South San Jose, just off Almaden Expy.
Mat Level #1 is the perfect introduction for those new to Pilates. It is a moderately paced class designed to give you a grounding the in fundamentals and provide you with the skills to move onto the next level.
Mat level 1 and our sister class Pilates stretch and core are excellent beginner classes with maximum mat work and minimum equipment work designed to work muscles and body regions in order to improve toning and range of movement at the same time.

PILATES MAT CLASSES OVERVIEW
MAT LEVEL #1
A 60-minute class that applies Pilates principles to develop core strength and flexibility in a supportive atmosphere. Class focuses on form, technique and proper breathing. Pilates mat exercises are introduced with ample modifications. Completion of this class is Strongly recommended before registering for Mat Level 2.

PILATES STRETCH & CORE
A 60 Minute class, beginning with strong core exercises and finishing with stretch. You will leave feeling, stronger abdominal’s more flexible, grounded, calm and aware of your body. Modifications are given for each pose to allow each student to preform at their own skill level.
